Dear Mr. Roger Goodell,
I am writing to inform you about what is going on throughout the NFL. I feel as though it has become a better sport to play and I see that you guys are making the game safer. A lot of critics would like to disagree because they feel that the NFL causes life sustaining injuries and diseases. These critics are only trying to take away a great sport. There are plenty of other sports where people get injured and have life sustaining injuries. An example of this is boxing or hockey. But the main focus is head injuries. Over the past years I have seen that the number of head injuries have gone down and I see that the medical staff has advanced. For example, anyone who has received a concussion in the game cannot come back for the day. This is a great rule because it helps protect certain individuals. Also, former NFL players are now covered by the 88 plan and they receive more benefits. Anyone that has been hurt is being taken care. This helps to get rid of major brain diseases like CTE and Alzheimer’s. I really love the NFL and I would hate to see get shut down because there are too many injuries. The NFL is progressing well and you do not need to make any more rule changes.
Sincerely,
Nigel Minter
